By Cera d’Ick is the breeding programme’s flagship horse. Despite suffering an injury as a young horse, he has left his mark on the breeding programme. His offspring have excelled in competition, such as Jyrado vh Bovenhoekshof ridden by Jérôme Guery, Grande Dame DK who made a name for herself with Eden Blinlebreton, not to mention Girl Power DK, top winner under the saddle of Pedro Muylaert, and Fein Lotta DK with Nicolas Delmotte, who continues to compete with just as much success under Mexican colours.

Finalist in the French Championships for 7-year-olds, her dam, Cavalotta d’Ick, competed herself right up to Grand Prix level before turning to breeding. Her first offspring, Instant Crush DK (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve), made his Grand Prix debut at just 8 years of age. Cavalotta is the first daughter of the stud’s matriarch, Vialotta d’Ick, daughter of the famous Pialotta, who finished fourth at the World Championships in Aachen with Edwina Alexander.
